Grace, Mercy, and Peace to you from our Resurrected Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

Opening Prayer:

Dear Jesus, thank you for the love you shower upon us. Be with those of us who gather together today, be with our friends who need to stay home to be safe - please send the Holy Spirit to all who gather in your name, be it in person or virtually. Amen.

Songs:

Joyful Joyful We Adore Thee

Lifesong

How Deep the Father's Love for Us

Children's Song:

Jesus Loves Me

Prayer of Confession / Assurance / Prayers of the People:

Our Lord and God, you are merciful beyond our understanding; yet we often fail to show that mercy to those who need it. Please help us to realize the depths for your love for us and lead us into sharing it with all that we meet.

We ask that you continue to be with all of our leaders from local to national to global. Give them wisdom and discernment to lead their communities into safety and peace. As we have almost 1.5 million cases and almost 90,000 deaths due to the Coronavirus in our own country, please be with all who are personally affected from families to care workers, give them peace and keep them safe.

And for all of those known and unknown who are lonely, sick, sad, or afraid - be with them and give to each what it is that you know that they need.

This we pray to you our Lord, in the name of your victorious Son Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Amen

High King of Heaven, thank you. Thank you for rescuing us from ourselves. Thank you for bringing us into your Kingdom. Thank you for giving us a hope that knows no bounds. Teach us to live lives that cause our neighbors to seek you and your Kingdom. And please continue to be with everyone in our communities and keep them safe.

Amen.
