Dear Jesus, thank you for sharing with us the gifting of the Holy Spirit. Please be with those of us who gather together today, whether remotely or with friends; continue to be with our family who need to stay home to be safe - please send your grace to all who gather in your name, be it in person or virtually. Amen.

Amazing Love (You Are My King)

Children's Song: Jesus Loves the Little Children medley

Prayer of Confession / Assurance / Prayers of the People:

Dear Lord, you have sent us out into the world from our houses, to our neighborhoods, to the ends of the earth to be your witnesses. Forgive us for all the times we have kept your message of forgiveness and the joy of your salvation to ourselves. Please teach us to be more like you, give to us what we need to be your ambassadors in this world, so that all would know the enduring love of your Kingdom.

This morning, we ask that you be with members of our family both here and abroad:

Lord, we also continue to pray for our nation - these past weeks have again revealed the deep wounds in our society dug by by racism. Heal our communities Lord, let everyone live today in the equality that we stand before you and lead us in bringing the justice of your Kingdom to every corner of despair.

Lord God, for all who are lonely, sick, sad, or afraid, we ask that you be with them all, let them know that you sit beside them, let them feel your arms wrap around them.

These things we pray to you, our Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
